Villa H is a family home that prioritises an intelligent use of space, interaction of daylight and a contemplative outlook. The simple plan enables spaces to be flexible, open and functional. The house is bathed in the light of the ever-changing seasonal skies. Burnt wood, kebony wood, oak and concrete evolve over time organically, as do its occupants and plants.
The central fireplace is the heart of the house where the family meets.
From the basement to the second floor, the space is divided into rooms where each member of the family can find the intimacy and the desired occupation.
The neutral colours of the first floor create a relaxed atmosphere with sliding windows framed by dark kebony wood to accentuate the outdoor views.
The dark purple staircase runs along the 7.5-meter-high concrete wall that connects the 3 floors and leads to a colourful and playful private space upstairs where children, parents and everyday mess find their place.
